一方、ハードウェアのセールスでは、42万台を販売したXbox 360が据え置き機ではトップにランクイン。これは、Halo 3が発売された2007年9月以来初めてとのことで、本体の歴史においても最高の2月という結果になったそうです。また、小売店への出荷数で制限があったというPS3も、前年比30％増と上向きの数字だった模様。
